Snr/Quantity Surveyor (Facade & Curtain Wall Construction)

about the company Our client is an architecture contractor in Singapore. They offer competitive salaries and bonuses. They are currently looking for quantity surveyor for their projects in Singapore. about the job

• Prepare tender documents, costing, tender evaluation, and contract administration
• Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid
• Responsible for controlling costs, budget management, evaluation of price comparison, and costing summary
• Prepare variation orders (VO), monthly reports for progress payment claims, and Purchase orders matching the Delivery Order.
• Review and negotiate with the project manager’s suggested subcontractors if applicable.
• Identify potential claims based on the contract deviation and handle problems such as time extensions, terms, and conditions, loss and expense claims, etc.
• Settle main and sub contractor’s final accounts
• Work and establish relationships with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors

skills & experience required

• Diploma / Degree in electrical / mechanical / quantity surveying / building / construction / civil engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in facade contractor work environment
• Familiar with tendering, project cost control, and contracts administration
• Good knowldge of Contracts (PSSCOC, SIA)
• Good knowldge of rates
