SOCIAL CARE MANAGER - CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL SERVICE

Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organization responding to meet the needs of vulnerable young people through community, residential, and aftercare support and services.
Attuned Programmes Ireland seeks highly motivated Social Care Managers to join the management team.
We are currently recruiting a Social Care manager for our Children’s residential service in Wicklow. Attuned Programmes provide residential care and community-based outreach support to young people and vulnerable adults. We aim to support and meet young people and adults where they are at and to identify and navigate towards positive outcomes safely and respectfully that takes account of their individual needs and cultural preferences.
General Job Description:
The successful candidates will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and will be able to demonstrate this through their qualifications and some experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards, and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of vulnerable young people.
Managers / PICs will be responsible for the management of social care teams and ensuring compliance with Tusla / HIQA standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates for the Social Care House Manager position must have a BA Hons QQI level 8 Degree in social care with four years post-qualification work experience in a social care setting.
  Or a Minimum QQI level 7 degree in social care and be enrolled on a course leading to a management qualification suitable for a social care setting with four years post qualification work experience in a social care setting.
  Knowledge of relevant National Standards in Children’s Residential Services
  Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing, and planning skills.
  This post is subject to Garda clearance.
  A full, clean driving license is desirable
  Candidates must also have a deep commitment to children’s and young people’s rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
