Social Creative - Global Athletes & Team Marketing (m/f/d)
SPORTFIVE is working with some of the biggest sports teams and athletes on the planet, such as the Chicago Bulls in the NBA, the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL and Borussia Dortmund and Jürgen Klopp in football, on their internationalization and global growth. We are currently looking to grow our team in this space and are therefore seeking a Social Creative, with a passion for American Football, based in Hamburg, Germany.
The Social Creative is a mix between a social media manager and a content creator. His/her focus is on actively growing and building digital audiences across different social and digital media platforms on a daily basis, using inspirations from all sources of entertainment and trends (music, gaming, movies, etc.). He/she should be responsible for planning and creating creative social media content with a focus on short videos, editorial copywriting, engaging with online communities, and analyzing insights for one of our key global NFL accounts in Germany. The role could also involve working with major athletes as well.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Creative mindset, always on the lookout for new ideas and trends
  • Master of Instagram and Tiktok algorithms
  • Minimum 2 years of social media and content creation experience, preferably with an agency or a rightsholder
  • NFL and American sports fan!
  • Experience in developing branded content and activation concepts
  • Proficient and fluent in spoken/written English mandatory
  • Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro
  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of media buying mechanism on social media
  • Bonus points for pop culture knowledge and meme creation

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and create social media content for one of or key sports accounts in the NFL, with a focus on short videos (Reels & Tiktok)
  • Day-to-day social media management, and develop conversations with fans
  • Development of monthly content and editorial calendar
  • Contribute to creative and storytelling efforts across the account’s different channels
  • Build connections and develop collaborations with influencers, the NFL and online media accounts
  • Execute and monitor social paid media campaigns
  • Work functionally across creative, commercial, design and CRM to ensure social media strategy is aligned with overall marketing initiatives
  • Execute and optimize business performance reporting including but not limited to: weekly recap, benchmarking, performance monitoring, campaign evaluation, best practices etc..
  • Work collaboratively with our other creative and marketing resources to Develop creative social media concepts to be pitched to brands
