Following a settling-in period you will be responsible for supervising one junior member of the team.
Responsibilities:
We are a team of five who work with registered providers of social housing of all sizes, both small and large in property charging transactions. Our work involves carrying out all required due diligence in order to draft a Certificate of Title and negotiating this with the funder’s solicitors. We often deal with properties which have been newly constructed within the last 10 years where the due diligence extends to review of new build structural warranties and building regulation completion certificates and discharge of all planning conditions. Some of our clients previously acquired their properties from local authorities under large scale voluntary transfers so we may also consider Council collateral warranties. As part of the role, there is routinely focus on identifying issues that may impact chargeability or the valuation attainable and identifying solutions. The role is supported by our junior (but no less important) members of the team who are expert in relation to mapping and property list checks, obtaining and reviewing search results, planning permissions and discharges and attending to FCA and Land Registry applications.
