Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate would support the Competitiveness, Cohesion and Social Impact Division in the management of various aspects of the social impact programmes manged by the EIF.
The scope of work includes in particular (i) supporting the management and coordination of delivery under Advisory activities, developing and coordinating of specific projects in the area of microfinance, social economy, skills financing, gender financing, etc., preparation of the relevant documentation, liaising with EIF/EIB services, EIB/Advisory, and external stakeholders, as needed.
S/he will functionally report to the head of Division for Competitiveness, Cohesion and Social Impact within the MDPD Department
Scope of work
- Support the activities required for the management of social impact programmes, including InvestEU Advisory activities, launching implementing orders/assignments, develop concrete advisory activities and monitor them, organising events falling within the scope of advisory activities.
- Support the roll-out and management of online tools for an upcoming project connecting mentors and mentees in the space of gender finance.
- Contribute to the preparing business presentation, draft memorandum
- Support the coordination of the approval process and the flow of information between EIF, EIB and external stakeholders
Requirements
- University degree in economics, business, finance or related field
- Excellent business drafting skills in English
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to analyse large quantity of business information in limited time in order to produce effective executive summaries / memoranda in a clear and concise way
- Excellent team spirit
- Ability to operate in a proficient way Power Point, Excel
- Previous knowledge in debt product, or equity investments product is required
- Knowledge of microfinance, social economy, social impact finance tools may be an advantage.
