A Snapshot

As Senior Manager, Social Impact based in our HQ in North Sydney, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with various teams and leadership across APJ, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Shaping our social impact efforts and driving meaningful change in the communities where we operate
  • Implementing AirTrunk’s social impact program that aligns with our strategy, values and business objectives
  • Fostering impactful and deep social impact partnerships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Implementing social impact programs, ensuring compliance and reporting.

Your Day to Day

  • Program management – Manage the social impact program across the region including budget management, program administration, ongoing performance management and execution.
  • Partnership engagement – Identify, initiate, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organisations, non-profit organisations and other institutions. Identify opportunities for collaboration to address community needs.
  • Stakeholder engagement - Establish and manage engagement with external stakeholders (customers, local government, banks etc) to maximise the social impact program and initiatives.
  • Communications – Work with the marketing and communications team on internal and external communication of AirTrunk’s social impact.
  • Employee engagement – Develop employee engagement and volunteerism, in collaboration with the people & culture team.
  • Compliance & Reporting - Manage governance, risk and compliance for the social impact program. Monitor and report on social impact program to oversight committees, board and lenders.
  • Other projects – Support other projects and activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, sustainability, corporate social responsibility).
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in developing and leading social impact or corporate social responsibility programs in the Asia Pacific & Japan region.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental issues and trends, especially those related to the technology and data centre industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community organisations and NGOs.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate social impact initiatives.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire both internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in measuring and reporting on social impact performance and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and making a positive impact on society.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Prior experience in the technology or data centre industry is a plus
