Social Media Account Director role
The purpose of this role is to take the lead with multiple Dentsu Creative social accounts and influence how we execute and implement best in class social for our client across the consumer and B2B landscape. We will do this by focusing on our unique Dentsu Creative capabilities, that mean we deliver both brilliant and effective creative work, and bringing measurable value for our clients and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience in a similar position. You’ll be a social expert who’s able to talk in detail about the different social platforms, functionalities and best practice.
  • Practical and hands on experience with the fundamental areas of social, including strategy, content creation, community management, content boosting and reporting.
  • Significant experience working with platforms, including Facebook Business Manager, TikTok for Business, Twitter Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snap Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and with social media tools, including Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Falcon, Sprout Social.
  • Expertise in all things social, including latest developments and trends, how social can deliver client business goals, social creative best practices, influencer marketing, paid social, and measurement and analyse.
  • Proficient experience in client management as well as managing a social media team.
  • Ability to oversee and manage account commercials, overseeing accounts with significant budgets.
  • A great understanding of how social integrates with other channels, including media, influencer, PR and eCRM.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and build relationships within internal stakeholders and clients alike.
  • An understanding of new business and experience collaborating on pitches.

What you will bring

  • Lead multiple social accounts, taking the client lead role and managing the team to deliver best in class social content and channel management.
  • Manage social retainers and campaign planning, delivering to agreed deadlines.
  • Oversee content creation from ideation to production, as well as community management to ensure all content/copy aligns to brand look and feel and tone of voice.
  • Work closely with strategy and creative teams to ensure all social content aligns to overall brand strategy, as well as plan future social campaigns.
  • Oversee content measurement by compiling benchmarks and KIPs and working with the social team to report on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage client and campaign budgets to ensure work is commercially viable.
  • Work within an integrated team across the Dentsu network to align social plans with media, influencer, PR etc.
