Line Manager: Strategic Content and Communications Manager
At the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), we put our children, families and communities first. Our social mission is what sets us apart from other organisations as our ambition is to change the world, one child at a time. As a social enterprise, we impact thousands of children’s access to quality education across London and hope to be able to reach many more in the next few years. Francoise Facella – Strategic Content and Communications Manager, “The marketing team is fast paced with great ambition. The team is supportive and respectful of each team member, playing on everyone’s strengths and offering room to grow”.
We are looking for a Social Media and Content Officer to join the LEYF team! This unique opportunity is perfect for anyone wanting to develop their career in Marketing and looking to gain in-house experience. The role allows for many learning opportunities and the chance to work with different dynamic teams across the organisation.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all social media platforms, so being social media savvy is key. You will create social media content including captions, graphics and on the go video, and be responsible for selling the LEYF story online.
You’ll need to be ahead of trends, able to spot opportunities and know what works well on each platform. A huge part of this role relies on your ability to take initiatives and make recommendations to the team while also reporting on developments and key stats of social media activity.
You will be the main point of contact for our Nurseries and Central Office teams for general Marketing queries and ensure that all LEYF pages on the website and other digital platforms are kept up to date. Being personable is essential as you will be the face of the Marketing team and representing the LEYF brand!
If social media is your thing and you’re looking for something new within the charity sector, this is the role for you. Join the LEYF Marketing team for fun opportunities to learn, grow and create.
