Description:

The social media associate assists the social media specialist in serving the marketing department nationally through social media, as well as all online and mobile/digital platforms and channels with brand representation. They would be responsible for planning and curating social media content, communication with the target market, reporting, and assist with online advertising.

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS PER CVPS :

Strategy: Assist with planning brand content calendar and generating content for all SM platforms/channels; research of market analysis for AFDA Brand on new SM platforms
Student recruitment: Engage with student queries on all SM platforms and coordinate feedback with recruitment officers; maintaining a minimum of 80% response rate with a high quality standard of communication; engaging with market to communicate and promote all AFDA events
Systems and reporting: Systems for follow-up communication and feedback; assist with SM monthly and quarterly statistics.
Advertising and branding: Implementation of posts on all SM platforms as per content calendar; curating content for all SM platforms/channels with a particular focus on build-up and coverage of AFDA events; curating and implementation of video content on new and existing SM platforms.
Communication and relationships: Planning and establishing relationships with new #HumansofAFDA; engaging with current #HumansofAFDA and key AFDA staff

DUTIES:

As an extension of the core value points, the following duties are expected to be fulfilled:
Ensuring all comments, DMs, and reviews are responded to timeously to maintain a high response rate and excellent customer service
Timeous and effective posting of engaging content
Planning daily stories and content for all social media platforms that require video / images
Curating content during AFDA events; engaging with attendees (to capture / source content) in a friendly and professional manner
Assisting prospective students with enquiries on all AFDA SM platforms/channels
Assist with providing relevant and accurate links, documentation and information to prospective students/parents on all SM platforms & online communication channels
Supporting the student admissions process from application to enrolment through engaging content, particularly IG and FB stories / reels
Assist with accurate monthly and quarterly reporting statistics as required by line manager
Maintaining a professional appearance in dress and presentation at all times
Qualifications, skills and experience
Preferable to have a undergraduate degree qualification from AFDA; or related field to marketing and recruitment (AFDA alumni will be given preference)
Minimum to have an higher certificate qualification from AFDA; or related field to marketing and recruitment (AFDA alumni will be given preference)
Experience in running social media marketing and communication campaigns
Customer relations experience is beneficial
