Pet Family is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to elevate our social media presence. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with our customers and drive growth across various platforms, websites and stores.

KEY SKILLS:

• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all tasks.
• Skilled in crafting high-quality written material, editing, and creating engaging social media content.
• Demonstrated ability to produce a high volume of quality posts, reels, and stories efficiently.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong proficiency in proofreading and editing.
• Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing campaigns.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Ability to multitask to a high standard and to meet deadlines.
• Able to manage and prioritise own workload.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Meta, and social media scheduling tools.
• Required proficiency in Instagram (Highly proficient), Facebook (Highly proficient), TikTok (Good working knowledge), and YouTube (Good working knowledge) LinkedIn (Good working knowledge).

• Oversee our social media channels, increasing brand awareness, encouraging engagement, and driving traffic to our websites and physical stores.
• Develop engaging, innovative, and creative content for our social media channels including text, images, videos, reels, stories and other multimedia formats.
• Work with the Marketing team to develop strategies for our social channels that are in line with each company’s target audience and goals with a view to growing engagement, followers, and impressions.
• Ensure all content produced is in line with Brand Guidelines for each company.
• Build a content schedule for our brands in our scheduling tool, posting as required according to defined time scales and frequencies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and the latest social media developments, algorithm changes and platform updates to optimise our strategies.
• Form and manage relationships with influencers, partners, and charities.
• Support in the creation of visually engaging monthly email newsletters for each of our brands.
• Track key metrics and data insights, providing regular reports and recommendations to optimise campaigns and improve performance.
