Description:

We are looking for a talented Social Media Lead that has a passion for telling engaging stories through dynamic visuals and clever copywriting. You will be the guardian and gatekeeper for the brands under your care, and look to create original and unique content across various platforms. As engagement is key, and the management of post comments and questions is an important touchpoint. As an expert in your field, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, trends and happenings in and around our industry. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views effectively and creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to drive high levels of web traffic and customer engagement on a consistent basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years managing multiple social media accounts (various verticals a plus)
  • Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Professional Degree will be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in content management, ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; creative storyteller with unwavering attention to detail and a strong command of English
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • You will feel right at home if you have a positive attitude, a great sense of humour and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently at times without supervision while maintaining updates as needed
  • Prior experience and a love for music, nightlife, hospitality, and entertainment is advantageous – as these are the things we live and breathe daily
  • Able to commit to a non-desk-bound role and hours
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities with a problem-solving aptitude.
  • Solid understanding of broad marketing concepts to align with business goals.
  • Prior experience and a love for music, nightlife, hospitality, and entertainment is advantageous – as these are the things we live and breathe daily
  • Able to commit to a non desk-bound role and hours when situation calls for it

  • Conceptualise and execute digital, online and social media strategies such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms – both owned and paid
  • Develop social media strategy and drive calendar planning
  • Set campaign KPIs and help track benchmarks for reporting
  • Provide actionable insights based on data, best practices and industry trends
  • Identify and engage with influencers and superfans to amplify brand awareness
  • Compile, measure, and analyse all social media data
  • Monitor, manage, and communicate with our community
