QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in social media, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Proficient in graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

The purpose of a Social Media Marketing Manager is to harness the power of social media platforms to achieve business objectives, enhance brand visibility, and cultivate meaningful relationships with the target audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for:

  • Create and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company’s overall marketing objective and brand identity.
  • Plan and schedule social media content in advance using content calendars to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns and events.
  • Proactively coordinate with the Marketing Communications Director and Product team to gather information about upcoming product releases well in advance.
  • Monitor professional golf tournaments closely and be ready to react in real-time (including weekends) when a tour player wins or accomplishes a big achievement.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner, and actively engage with the audience to build relationships and foster community growth.
  • Generate engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, infographics, and other multimedia formats.
  • Lead content and creative planning during production shoots with tour players and brand ambassadors.
  • Develop digital content production schedule, calendar, and budget.
  • Lead productions working with related teams as necessary.
  • In alignment with brand and global campaign guidelines outlined by Creative Director.
  • Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and others to reach specific target demographics and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with the Meta manager to ensure that we have created the right funnel and retargeting strategy for our paid ads and organic post boosts.
  • Track key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, engagement rate, post impressions, etc. to reach specific marketing objectives.
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions of the brand, industry trends, and relevant news, and actively participate in conversations to maintain brand reputation and awareness.
  • Identify and collaborate with the Strategic Partnership Manager to amplify our brand ambassadors and influencers by increasing brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Coordinate with the Strategic Partnership Manager around the ambassador social media content schedule.
  • Develop protocols and strategies for handling social media crises and negative feedback and respond appropriately to mitigate damage to brand reputation.
  • Plan, budget, and execute social-specific creative development.

Work with in-house creative team or third party photographers, video editors, and animators as appropriate and within budget
