THE WHAT…

Our Social Media Marketing Manager sits in our Marketing team and is based at our Support Centre in Hemel Hempstead with the option to work from home one day per week, and occasional travel to our centres required.

The responsibilities of the Social Media Marketing Manager include:

  • Lead and deliver the overall social media marketing strategy (owned, earned and paid channels) to increase brand reach, awareness and customer engagement
  • Own and execute the social media content calendar covering and not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube and proactively utilise data and insight to measure and analysing results and ROI
  • Drive the social media marketing strategy across all brands, including leading the business on, and being the go-to person for, social media marketing trends and innovation
  • Responsible for the dissemination of thought leadership on social media marketing content
  • Lead the monthly social media steering group meeting, sharing best practice across the business
  • Drive the social media marketing to support the launch of new initiatives nationally and locally e.g. new centre openings, rebrands, refurbishments and tactical local support
  • Monitor the effectiveness, measure and report on social marketing activities
  • Manage and own the social media competitions process
  • Manage and own the influencer strategy
  • Manage relationships with key agency partners to SLAs, including social media, creative, media and graphic designers.
  • Manage the social media marketing agency, including running the annual independent audit, presenting back findings and recommendations to the head of marketing and marketing manager, briefing them on campaigns and approving statements of work
  • Implement key findings and recommendations from the annual audit, to support continuous growth and improvement for the brand’s social channels
  • Improve and grow the brand’s share of voice, maintaining positive brand sentiment
  • Manage the social briefing processes
  • Identify and champion social media marketing opportunities to enhance customer experience across the full customer journey
  • Ensure timely, relevant and accurate content is maintained across channels for all customer groups
  • Actively promote the social channels to customers, consumers and internal stakeholders
  • Give social brand guidance support for the wider marketing team and business
  • Demonstrate sound commercial awareness throughout social marketing activities

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience in digital/social marketing
  • Experience in social media marketing and marketing communications
  • Knowledge of social tools and scheduling platforms
  • Experience in copy writing and editing and content creation
  • Experience in campaign management
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness
  • Ability to develop and work effectively to project plans
  • Manage quality and effective output from marketing suppliers
  • Manage agency relationships and performance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks
  • Able to deliver against deadlines and budgets
