JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Social Media Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Attend and cover live events hosted by ADIB by creating engaging and timely content for social media platforms. This includes live-tweeting, posting updates, sharing photos/videos, and engaging with followers in real-time to provide comprehensive coverage.
  • Conduct Sentiment Report Analysis and Reporting: Monitor social media channels for mentions of ADIB and analyze sentiment to gauge public perception. Generate regular reports outlining key findings, trends, and insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Analyze social media performance.
  • Support social media content creation and distribution.
  • Identify online customer habits and suggest means by which to broaden our audience.
  • Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase our brand awareness.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments such as Social Media Manager and other business teams to synthesize marketing campaigns.
  • Provide support on online engagement and drive reporting on moderator performance.
  • Support all marketing activities and projects.
  • Research the benefits of emerging social networks regarding ADIB.
  • Stay up to date on social media best practices and apply them to ADIB social media channels.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Brief social media agency and work with them to deliver ADIB social media requirements.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
