You are a creative person with strong organizational skills with experience around Social Media Content Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiar with social media management, blog development, content creation, and coordination. Ideally 1-2 years in a B2B or technology-focused organization.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices. Proficient in social media analytics and reporting tools to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content for social media and blog. Attention to details is also important.
  • Proficiency in creative design tools (e.g. Canva) for visual banners and video creation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in an additional language (such as French, German, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

THE TEAM AND THE ROLE

As part of the Corporate Communication team, the Social Media Specialist at Equinix will play a crucial role in integrating social media into EMEA Corporate Communication activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring that Equinix social media channels and content promote and protect our reputation. This is achieved through close collaboration with the Global Social Media team, regional stakeholders including marketing, operations and sales.

THE ROLE IN FEW POINTS

  • Integrate social media into EMEA Corporate Communication activities, ensuring alignment with Equinix’s overall marketing and communication strategies.
  • Create visually appealing designs, including visual banners and videos, using tools like Canva or similar to enhance social media content.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, spark meaningful engagement, and support lead generation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Social Media team, regional counterparts, and EMEA Marketing teams, including Field Marketing Managers, to develop and execute social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, spark meaningful engagement, and support lead generation.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to EMEA teams on social media best practices, including content creation and platform-specific strategies.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to support social media initiatives and blog development when needed.
