Team/Specialism: Children’s Emergency Duty Team
Pay Rate: £40 per hour (assignment rate)

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ADVANCED PRACTITIONER:

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services
• Experience of chairing Strategy Discussions, leading S47 Investigations and intervening to diffuse crisis situations is essential.
• The candidate must be able to assess risk and develop safety plans, utilising family and support networks where appropriate to keep children safe.
• This is an office based position. Full-time workers undertake 3 to 4 shifts per week and follow a fixed 4 week rota pattern.
• There is also a requirement to be on call from home between 1am and 8.45am as part of the rota, 1 to 2 nights per week.
