We are seeking two Social Workers to join our Horizon team, with one position available on a 12-month fixed-term basis and the other on a permanent basis. Horizon is a multi-agency team which provides support to children and young people who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation.Social Workerswithin the team have aprotected case load to ensure interventions are provided to young people to reduce risk and develop robust safety planning.
The children and young people we work with come from a variety of backgrounds and in order to deliver the best possible care it is vital that we have a workforce that represents and understands their unique experiences and perspectives. This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Who are we looking for? We are looking for candidates with a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW), Social Work England registration and individuals who arededicated professionals with a passion for working with at-risk youth.
