ABOUT SMMC:

Scenic Mountain Medical Center is a community health care provider serving patients in Howard County. An acute care hospital with 146 licensed beds, Scenic Mountain is Joint Commission accredited. Our specialized services include cardiology, orthopedics, maternity, diagnostic imaging, emergency care with a 24/7 level IV Trauma Center, wound care, and women’s health and breast care services.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Licensed
Prefer 3 years work experience in mental health, substance abuse, developmental disability, or human services field.
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under many different time lines and task completion demands.
Ability to work effectively with the public and persons with emotional and mental illness problems.
Successful completion of AHA approved course in BLS certification required upon hire.
COAP required within 30 days of hire.
