Description:
Are you a qualified social worker with experience in working with people who have care and support needs?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified social worker to join the Social Care Networks Team. The team work with adults aged 18 plus so the work is varied, each day is different as you will need to respond to the needs of people from a range of different backgrounds. The Social care Network Team is a longer term adult social work team therefore you will be required to undertake statutory functions in line with the Care Act 2014, this will include but not limited to Care Act Reviews, safeguarding enquiries and care and support planning.
You will need to hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and work as part of a dynamic team, with shared learning from and contributing to the development of others. You will preferably have a detailed knowledge of adult care and its underpinning legislation.
You will need to be able to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. You will need to have effective communication and organisation skills as well as the skills in negotiation and use of IT systems.
