Lumentum is looking for Software Algorithm Specialist to play a leading role in the development of a solution for a new generation of disruptive optical metrology products and participate in creating a lean and agile development culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to define new product requirements.
• Document and review requirements and designs with peers and stake holders.
• Implementing algorithms for 3D image processing.

Education:

• MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline.

Qualifications:

• Experience implementing advanced algorithms.
• Fluent in C++, Rust and Python.
• Experience with Optical Metrology sensors and systems using laser scanners, structured light or LiDAR.
• Experience with 3D image processing including Biomedical imaging.

Assets:

• Knowledge of image processing using GPUs.
