We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Hanover, MD. As a Software Developer, you will thrive in an Agile environment, utilizing your expertise in Research, Software Engineering, and Networking to develop mission-critical tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in system-level programming or development for embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ development for x86, PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM architectures.
  • Familiarity with signal analysis tools like Wireshark.
  • Scripting experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
  • Comfortable working in the Linux operating system.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Development experience using C/C++ for PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM architectures.
  • Understanding of reverse engineering using tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, utilizing the Atlassian suite.
  • Basic knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems like VxWorks, Integrity, eCos, or POSIX-compliant Operating Systems such as Solaris or BSD.
  • Fundamental understanding of network programming.
  • Familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems, along with basic Configuration Management principles.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active/Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating as a key member of a small multi-disciplinary team, conducting platform research, and implementing solutions in C, C++, and Assembly.
  • Supporting unit, component, and system test activities, as well as contributing to readiness reviews and product release cycles.
  • Effectively communicating with the technical team, management, and the customer to provide progress updates, share plans, and address potential issues.
