Description:

The Ford Pro Technical Software Developer is to action and resolve technical issues impacting Ford Pro Charging and Intelligence solutions impacting customer’s ability to successful use the solution to optimize business and fleet needs. You will be responsible to triage and identify root technical issue with defined SLAs and work with product engineering, field, or vendors to efficiently resolve customer impacting issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WE SEEK:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or other scientific field of study (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
  • 2+ years of experience in handling Connected Vehicle related Quality concerns
  • 2+ year of experience with querying and utilizing large datasets to prove/disprove theories/investigations
  • 1+ years of experience with JIRA

OUR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge in Six-Sigma and/or Quality/Reliability tools - DoE, Taguchi Methods, FMA
  • Solid understanding of vehicle electrical architectures and components
  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively connect with a diverse group of people and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to respond and prioritize several demands from different teams and point of view
  • Ability to drive Quality/Performance attitude into different levels inside the Company

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to the leadership teams
  • Monitor, prioritize and drive actions to address customer technical concerns from various sources, such as: Fleet Customer Critical issues, Technical Hotline, Business Account Feedback, etc.
  • Use Connected Vehicle Data (Leading Customer Indicators) as a real-time data source to improve upon any early issues proactively as well as to support accurate prioritization on improving Traditional Quality Metrics
  • Pro-Actively Drive investigations and take actions to deliver Traditional/Leading metrics that correlate to an outstanding customer experience
  • Maintaining relationships with different employees and departments within the Ford Pro vehicle enrollment ecosystem.
  • Ability to quickly benchmark (internally and externally) while establishing action plans on quality indicators, across all Connected Vehicle Features.
  • Proactively identify and capture peer support to quickly solve any issues affecting customers
  • Offer information and support to users, account managers and onboarding specialists.
  • Communicate with customers as needed on steps to resolution of an issue raised.
