We’re in the early stages of a major product update on Old School RuneScape and looking for an SDET to take part in setting the foundation of test automation to enable Old School RuneScape to run for the next 20 years, In line with our mission of creating forever games, you will support the game teams in ensuring high quality and availability for our players.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve test automation frameworks, integration test frameworks, and internal tools for Jagex games.
- Architect and write code to improve the quality of the automation toolchain.
- Standardize reporting of key performance metrics to assess impact/value.
- Work with other disciplines to understand customer requirements and update the team roadmap to reflect priorities.
- Mentor QA Engineers and other developers to effectively use the frameworks in writing test cases for games.
- Collaborate with the game teams on the adoption and support of automation frameworks as part of their development/release pipeline.
- Participate in design/code reviews, measure code coverage, assess overall system quality, and ensure the efficiency of automated test frameworks.
