Our Technology Directorate is looking for an Intermediate to Senior Level Software Developer who can lend their skills to an exciting project and contribute to the development of an in-house application. This role will be integrated with some of our existing teams and will work closely with the Product owner, staff within the Technology Directorate and other teams in the wider Intelligence Community.
You will be a key player in the team whose aim is to drive this version of the product to be a newer, better, more modern version of the existing. The work you do will help to get valuable intelligence reporting out to stakeholders who need it and will have customer outcomes as a key focus.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:
You will have the ability to design, develop, test and make improvements to better meet user needs, and deploy upgrades. You will also be confident documenting in code, maintaining technical documentation, communicating and engaging with stakeholders, and collaborating with other developers. We will also be looking for:
3 years+ experience working with core development languages (e.g. Java or Microsoft .Net, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, SQL, Windows, Linux etc.)
A good understanding of the software development process
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong communication and a drive to provide a high quality service to customers
