Lastwall is a Canadian, cloud-based security provider. We supply a robust identity platform designed to combat emerging and disruptive cyber threats.
Lastwall’s head office is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada with offices in Vancouver, British Columbia and Honolulu, Hawaii, along with a remote staff across North America.
This position is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick and is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 1 day a week in the office.

Firm Requirements

• Minimum 2 years industry experience
• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience working with frontend frameworks (e.g. React, AngularJS, Vue, etc.)
• Experience working with and building web APIs
• Deep knowledge of Typescript
• Works well in a team environment
• Security-minded (willingness to make software and hardware compromises due to security!

Do you dream in code and find joy in untangling complex problems? If you’re a wizard with React, a maven with Typescript, and have a knack for front-end excitement, we want you on our team!
We’re currently looking for a full stack developer who truly enjoys the nature of front end work. Our stack is in React, Typescript/Javascript, GraphQL, REST, NodeJS, PostgreSQL.
As a Lastwall Dev you will work on our SSO and Portal platform products. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a team dynamic and is used to the structure of daily stand-ups and 2 week sprints. We presently follow what we call a ScrumBan methodology.

Firm Requirements

• Minimum 2 years industry experience
• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience working with frontend frameworks (e.g. React, AngularJS, Vue, etc.)
• Experience working with and building web APIs
• Deep knowledge of Typescript
• Works well in a team environment
• Security-minded (willingness to make software and hardware compromises due to security!)

Nice to haves:

• Enthusiasm for well organized code and clear documentation
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest and Selenium
• Experience with memory-safe languages such as Rust
• Experience working with authentication/authorization protocols such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth2
• FedRAMP exposure
• Compliance framework knowledge
