REQUIREMENTS

• Proven SharePoint On-Premises Developer experience
• Expertise in custom web part development, event receivers, timer jobs and SharePoint Designer workflows
• Minimum 5+ years Software Developer experience
• Strong understanding of SharePoint security model and permissions along with integrating/migrating SharePoint with other applications
• Experience working DevOPs and CI/CD methods and processes
• Experience working in Waterfall OR Agile processes
• Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
• Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment

ABOUT THE ROLE

They are currently seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join their team based in Chatswood with the flexibility to work remotely from home with occasional office days. This is an estimated 12-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Corporate Applications Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in web development along with maintaining the hosted SharePoint On-Premise solutions for customer public and internal facing websites. This role will provide assistance to SharePoint Administration and BAU support coverage as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution Development: Design, develop and implement innovative SharePoint (On-Premise) solutions
• Customisation and Configuration: Customise and configure SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows and other components to enhance user experience and align with business processes.
• Integration: Collaborate with other development teams and IT professionals to integrate SharePoint solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, ensuring that all development activities are well documented
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to SharePoint On-Premise solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient system performance
• Assist Legacy Site Migrations: Evaluate existing sites, identify opportunities for improvement and assist with the site migration planning and execution to preferred technologies, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to end users
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers and system administrators, to understand requirements and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
