The main duties of this position are directing and participating in programming activities, monitoring, and evaluating system performance, and designing and implementing new programs and features. Ensure databases backups and servers and applications high availability. Ensures security, performance and scalability using best practices and optimized algorithms. This position takes an active part in the design and development of the new, and support of the existing, web applications in Linux/Apache environment. Experienced in new and emerging web development tools, programming and scripting languages such as Ruby and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of relational database design and optimization techniques for MySQL and PostgreSQL. Develop quality software and web applications, determines feasibility of projects by analyzing and verifying data, API and/or resource requirements. Design user friendly views (UX). Support and troubleshooting for application issues. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Analyze process and translate user requirements to software project. Testing application. Database and server backups. Version control (GIT). Perform troubleshooting & root cause analysis. Perform training in computer & services use. Create, document & deploy process’ for various IT operations that may or may not interact with other areas or departments. Constantly research and propose new technologies or services that could be implemented to improve the operation.
Experiencia y requisitos
OOP. Experience in python and Django Experience to develop APIS with REST Framework. SQL knowledge (queries, procedures, views, etc.) Desire knowledge with PostgreSQL, Python, CSS, Progress, Ruby on Rails. Frameworks JavaScript like VueJs or Angular Frontend development oriented to components. Knowledge of Version control (GIT) Experience in deploy web applications in Linux. Preferred knowledge in hybrid applications (Ionic, Flutter). Preferred Experience with ERP (QAD). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or similar. 3+ years’ experience as full stack developer. Good understanding of Software Life Cycle. Experience with operative system UNIX.
