We are now looking for two enthusiastic Software Developer Trainees to join our software development team in Helsinki for a 4 to 6 months paid summer trainee period. Join us and be a part of our fastest growing business area!
Working as a Software Developer Trainee
Our trainees really get hands-on. You will get the opportunity to learn by doing and improve your skills. You will be a part of an agile development team where you get to participate in everyday software development and deployment actions. Your role is mainly remote with the opportunity to visit our office in Ilmala, Helsinki. We are also flexible with the start date - upon agreement between you and us.

Your tasks include:

• Working mainly with the following technologies: React, Typescript, Storybook, Python, AWS.
• Creating solution documentation to be reviewed by your mentor and other software developers.
• Gathering system reliability, scaling and lifecycle related information which will be utilized in decision-making, as well as development and maintenance related decisions.
• Interfacing multiple development teams to ensure end-to-end technical alignment.
• Collaborating with other Posti-developers to learn and grow.

Are you our Software Developer Trainee?

• You have already learned the fundamentals of software engineering and have a relevant technical educational background.
• You are eager to learn more about some of these: Typescript, React, Storybook, Python, AWS.
• As a person you are ambitious, determined, collaborative and responsible.
• It is a huge plus if you have some code or project to share (you have done either at school or during your free time).
• You have fluent language skills in English.
