At UKG, we build modern workforce management applications that empower managers, enhance the employee experience, and support flexibility. UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is looking for a software developer to join its world class engineering team in Montreal for its latest Cloud platform: UKG Dimensions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experiencing developing quality cloud solutions. You will play a key role in the development of our SaaS offering, in a highly collaborative, agile environment. This role provides the opportunity to:

  • Build software applications and deliver business solutions using industry-standard programming languages and delivery platforms.
  • Work as a fully contributing team member, under moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Develop, support, maintain, and implement complex components of a project module.
  • Adhere to and promote standards and cloud development best practices (performance, security, etc).
  • Contribute to the suite of automated testing.
  • Show willingness and commitment to self-development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working with programming languages like Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, Java 8, SQL etc.
  • Experience with unit testing processes and tools (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, , etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.

Nice to have:

  • Familiar working with Docker infrastructure
  • Very good understanding of French (we offer free French courses at work, during working hours!)
  • Contribute to the suite of automated testing.
  • Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence)
