As a Software Developer Cloud, you will have the chance to design the technology to enable Caregivers in hospitals to take care of critically sick patients more easily. You develop the User Interface and Analytics functions of patient monitoring devices enabling workflows to detect patient deterioration earlier and present actionable results to the user.

Your role:

  • This role is an excellent opportunity to be in the first row when creating an important piece for the next generation platform. This platform will enable us to deliver a state of the art solution on the latest industry technology. This will enable you use cutting edge technology and grow your skill set over time.
  • You will be responsible for: requirements analysis & detailed definition of solutions for individual features; Software design (including its documentation); development of prototypes to demonstrate the working design; product quality software development (including test automation) and incorporating new concepts from Open-Source projects into our patient monitoring platform. You will work with local and distributed team members, providing knowledge sharing and consulting.
  • You will be part of the R&D team that is tasked to deliver General Care patient monitor devices within the Hospital Patient Monitoring Group. The team takes responsibility for the overall solution and particular domain specific features. Requirements are provided by customers, application specialists, UX experts, and domain experts.
  • This role offers you the flexibility to work in a hybrid model (3 days from the office and 2 days from home).

You’re the right fit if:

  • You hold a Master’s Degree (or equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant Engineering field.
  • You have a strong experience with Programming languages (C# /.NET, Typescript / React)
  • You are experienced with Cloud/Microservice architectures (Kubernetes, Rancher, ArgoCD, Docker, helmcharts)
  • You are familiar with Tooling (Github, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio)
  • You are familiar with Databases (e.g. Postgres) and DevOps (Webpack)
  • You have a good understanding of Communication protocols (e.g. FHIR, Kafka)
  • You are able to work effectively in an agile team-oriented environment
  • You are good team player but still able to finish tasks on your own and you are eager to continuously learn and improve
  • You are conversant in English and fluent in German.
