Responsibilities:

You love people as much as you love technology and you see Mappedin as a place to unlock your full potential. You will formulate objectives that will get the team excited and focused. You have experience leading a team and enough technical knowledge to shape project requirements and convey those to the rest of your team. You will scale our services to meet the growing demand while ensuring the team is up-to-standard.

As part of the Engineering team and reporting to the VP of Engineering - Platform, you will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure team:

  • Developing backend service and DevOps technical strategy with the VP of Engineering while advancing the technical roadmap
  • Managing multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously
  • Carry out managerial duties which include salary reviews, professional development and performance management
  • You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty in the code to lead by example
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and facilitate technical solutioning sessions
  • You manage the software development lifecycle for several services and applications ensuring that they are built to be maintainable and scalable
  • You ensure SOC2 compliance in the Infrastructure team
