The role in a nutshell: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Manager to lead and build a small Team designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and scalable ecosystem.

For this role the ideal candidate will need…

• Proven API development experience and in-depth knowledge of API integration technologies e.g. REST, SOAP
• Extensive exposure to secure coding principles e.g. OWASP, Threat Modelling.
• High skills level in the ASP.NET and the .NET ecosystem and tools e.g. C#, Visual Studio, dotnet CLI

KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Proven API Development experience
• In depth knowledge of API Integration Technologies, e.g. REST, SOAP
• Extensive exposure to secure coding principles e.g. OWASP, Threat Modelling
• High skills level in the ASP.NET and the .NET ecosystem and tools e.g. C#, Visual Studio, dotnet CLI
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles and coding standards e.g. loosely-coupled, testable code
• Strong experience with automated CICD pipelines e.g. Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
• Familiarity with API Platforms/Tools, e.g. Swagger, Postman

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Leading & managing a small Team & Third-Party Partner
• Overseeing end-to-end Integration process
• Influencing & Implementing Development Governance
• Setting clear Team Goals & Objectives
• Defining & Implementing a Roadmap of Software Delivery
• Collaboration with Cross functional Teams
• Designing & Developing performant, secure & scalable APIs
• Contributing to our DevOps maturity
• Working with the BTS Management Team to set relevant Strategy and Direction
• Deliver within a highly regulated environment

FOR THIS ROLE (G3) WE WILL FOLLOW A 1ST AND 2ND ROUND INTERVIEW PROCESS WITH A MEMBER OF HR AND THE HIRING MANAGER/S. THE INTERVIEW WILL BE VIA TEAMS AND/OR FACE TO FACE, SO THAT WE ENSURE YOU HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE. THE 2ND STAGE MAY INVOLVE A ROLE PLAY AND/OR PRESENTATION.
