REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION:

  • 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications, performing testing and debugging and assisting with analysis and design including 12 mos. work experience in the SQL as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
  • Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 18 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications, performing testing and debugging and assisting with analysis and design including 12 mos. work experience in the SQL as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

Under general supervision of the CoreSuite Operations Manager, uses a working technical knowledge of software development to develop & modify programs for computer applications, perform testing, & debugging & assist with analysis & design.

  • Creating & modifying existing program modules.
  • Compiling with software reusability guidelines (e.g., APS’s, web services, microservices).
  • Using data manipulation, data query, program tracing/debugging, software development & versioning tools as required (e.g., SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Python, Team Foundation Server, GitHub, vendor API’s).
  • Learning & acquiring new skills via training, seminars, self-directed study & research of published materials & applies development process (e.g., Robotic Process Administration, Document Management tools, Cloud development).
  • Performing testing
  • creating or setting up test data for performing test scenarios.
  • executing unit & system test scripts.
  • Verifying & documenting unit & system test results to ensure software is producing desired results
  • Supporting documentation, workflow & lifecycle requirements & activities.
  • Assisting in gathering system requirements (e.g., CoreSuite, OhioBWC.com)
  • Defining & documenting current &/or future business process flows (e.g., correspondence processing, forms processing, data analytics).
  • Assisting in developing future process flows.
