Senior Software Engineer needs to support requirements capture, architecture, design, development, and documentation of Authorization Services. Primary functions will include Java Development for REST and SOAP services that integrate with LDAP directories to return Attributes and Authorization Decisions.

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of sixteen (16) years.
• Twelve plus (12 ) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of work experience in SIGINT, IA, or IT domains.
• Experience developing software and systems in Java (J2EE)
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Experience integrating application with SASPORT/CASPORT.
• Strong web service experience using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Cloudera, Kibana, ELK Stack, OViD, Oracle, Java Sr. Developer, NiFi, Radiant Logic, LDAP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on schedule, and with minimal supervision, when multiple projects are being developed simultaneously.
• PKI technologies expertise (including RSA, SSL, and certificates for example)
• Familiarity with coding and documentation standards and best practices, and with source control systems (e.g., SVN/GIT).
• Ability to clearly and professionally communicate ideas and status updates to peers, management, and external stakeholders including the Customer.
