Forge alternate worlds that deepen players’ lives! We’re a game development studio based in Los Angeles, dedicated to the idea that online games can deliver deeper, more meaningful experiences.
Build the backend cloud-native platform that powers Palia! Growth builds and operates the systems that help our players get into the game, including account management, refer-a-friend, game patching, Player Support integrations with our backend platform, and more.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a backend software engineer, you will

  • Develop and maintain online services for Palia.
  • We’re a team of generalists that bring our whole selves to our work; you’ll contribute more than just code to achieve our goal.
  • If you’re up for it, you may dive into the Unreal C++ code and pick up some game programming too!
  • You’ll hold the bar when it comes to code quality and game performance.
  • You’ll participate in code reviews, write tests and assist in creating a healthy, humane, professional CI/CD development pipeline.
