Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Software Engineer, Business Process Management (BPM) role is critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes through the use of cutting-edge technology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the migration of existing and legacy workflows from the on-premises K2 Platform to Azure Cloud, utilizing Azure Platform services such as Power Automate and Power Apps. The candidate will be responsible for developing workflows that align with BPMN standards. This technical role requires direct interaction with business users to gather requirements, design process solutions, and ensure that the developed workflows meet the business needs effectively.
In addition to workflow development, the candidate will be expected to work closely with the Engineering Solutions (ES) team to ensure seamless integration of the new cloud-based processes with existing systems. They will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the technology architecture and adhering to best practices and standards.
The role demands a strong technical foundation, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive solutions that enhance user experience and business operations. The candidate should be adept at leveraging automation to streamline processes and should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in BPMN standards and experience in developing and optimizing workflows
  • Hands-on working experience in asset management, trading, and trade life cycle management
  • Strong technical skills with experience in migrating workflows to cloud environments, particularly Azure Cloud with services like Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud Environment and a solid understanding of cloud services and infrastructure
  • Experience in the financial industry, with a focus on technical roles and process management.
  • Proficiency in database management, particularly with SQL Server, and experience in handling large datasets.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Snowflake
    Estimated Compensation:
    Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $155k to $175k. This is an anticipated range only.
    Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
