Job Description:
The Spring Cloud Data Flow team is building a toolkit for building data integration and real-time data processing pipelines based on Spring Boot microservices. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Java engineer, who is experienced in developing data integration and microservice applications.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a passion for simplifying how developers build and interact with distributed systems.
• Have an affection for open source software and fostering community growth.
• Love shipping software as a member of a distributed collaborative team.

Required Skills:

• A thorough understanding of the Spring Framework
• Experience with distributed systems
• Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows
• Strong communication skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree may be conisidered.
• 12+ years related work experience.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with serverless/functions as a service such as AWS Lambda, Riff, Apache OpenWhisk
• Experience with distributed application management frameworks such as CloudFoundry or Kubernetes
• Experience contributing to open source projects
