ABOUT YOU

  • 10+ years programming experience in C# and C++
  • Experience building commercial engineering applications
  • Knowledge or strong understanding of object orientated design principles
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Strong command of the English language in both verbal and written form
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia

HIGHLY REGARDED EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience in the mining industry
  • Development of multithreaded systems
  • SQL Server and SQLite development
  • Development of solutions using mathematical programming
  • Experience with interoperability between .Net and unmanaged code (C++)

ABOUT THE ROLE

RPMGlobal (RPM) is seeking a Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in C# and C++ CLI to join our Simulation development team. This position is a permanent full-time role based in our Brisbane CBD headquarters.
Our industry-leading Discrete Event Simulation (DES) software is helping the major mining organisations and equipment OEMs to electrify equipment and identify bottlenecks for increased production with minimum cost and environmental impact.
