BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience or coursework in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based).
  • Experience or coursework in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers.
  • Willing and able to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Understanding of missile or satellite software systems.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent team orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.

Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE?

For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system. They will join a team of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) and software engineers that designs and develops mission critical GNC subsystems for the FBM program. The duties for the position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle - requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.

TYPICAL MINS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • 2 - 5 years of professional experience for this role.
  • You will need to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
