We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team who will serve a key role in developing a cutting-edge, innovative cloud-based platform that provides tools and services for managing a production pipeline for animation, games and VFX projects. New grads welcome to apply! Our studio is located in the trendy Vancouver neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant, just a short walk away from the Main Street-Science World Skytrain Station. Job Title: Software Engineer (Frontend) (Remote)

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in developing applications using Angular components, directives, services, etc
  • Adapt interfaces for modern web applications using the latest front-end technologies
  • Convert design mock-ups to HTML, CSS
  • Write unit test cases for front-end applications
  • Contribute to and maintain technical documentation
  • Adhere to the company’s coding standards
  • Learn from experienced industry professionals

What You Need:

  • Basic understanding of Angular (any version)
  • Knowledge of web technologies - HTML5, CSS3, JSON
  • Understanding of Typescript, DOM manipulation techniques, and RESTful services
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GIT
  • Ability to take direction and provide consistent quality of work
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Fluent communication in English – both verbal and written

Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Exposure to Python or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Familiarity with other frontend frameworks such as React, VueJS, etc
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure)
