Description:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Development background in Java or Kotlin
  • Experience developing and working in a virtualized environment
  • Understanding of microservices architecture design and implementation
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Agile/scrum development experience
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams

As an experienced Java/Kotlin Developer you will have experience in building applications which is delivered on cloud-based services in a disruptive environments with microservices architectures.

  • Identify potential systems solutions to business needs, analysing the solution feasibility in conjunction with senior developers and technical architects
  • Research and suggest new open source tools and techniques that can be utilized in the team
  • Develop and maintain expertise in best practice development methodologies and techniques
  • Document proposed solutions to allow sign-off by technical specifications in a clear, concise and structure

Responsibilities:

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE. ON-SITE OFFICE REQUIREMENTS, ONCE EVERY 4-6 WEEKS IN OUR LONDON AND NUNEATON OFFICE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking at the future of shopping and we are moving away from expensive, slow-moving, third-party products to new solutions that are flexible and built in house to meet our needs from day one.
