As a Software Engineer, you will tackle challenges ranging from identity theft, to credit card fraud, to money laundering, and more. **Note: This position is based in the greater Seattle/Bellevue, WA area. We plan to bring the team together regularly for design, ideation, and connection building.
Job Description:
We are looking for talented Software Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and delivering full stack applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute on major initiatives to extend our financial platform capabilities.
  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to fully understand the feature and product vision and provide engineering feedback.
  • Design elegant API interfaces and domain models to provide consistency across multiple downstream vendor integrations.
  • Build secure, robust, scalable, and performant systems for processing transactions and managing customer data.
  • Set and maintain high standards of technical excellence across the team.
  • Achieve operational excellence by participating in the team on-call rotation and owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize projects and communicate changes to broader audiences.
  • Estimate project timelines, ensuring that projects you own stay on track and escalate as needed.
  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems application.
  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results.
  • May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong programming skills in Python (Flask & Django), Java, and React.
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with financial services data sources.
  • Experience with AWS is required.
