About our Team
You will be joining a collaborative, curious, team of Software Engineers at all different levels. By joining us you will have the opportunity to share ownership in solving this problem end to end. From exploring new data sources for building features, to design and put in production predictive models and make sure they perform consistently over time.
About the Role
As the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving best practices and supporting colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
  • Completing simple bug fixes.
  • Working closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
  • Acting in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Resolving technical issues as necessary.
  • Keeping abreast of new technology developments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX.
  • Able to work with simple data models.
  • Be competent in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Able to demonstrate basic knowledge of data storage subsystems.
  • Be willing to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Have good oral and written communications skills.
