JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Implement new functionality and convert existing GWT / Java prime faces based code using React on the front-end and Java for the RESTful service layer using Spring/Hibernate and SQL skills. Open to expanding on existing React solutions to provide more advanced, simple to use user experiences. Comfortable with multiple database technologies to support day-to-day development including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Couchbase. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
• 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
• Also required is:
• 2 years of experience: in React, Spring/Hibernate, full-stack web application development; in object-oriented programming using languages such as Java as core backend technology to implement complex business requirements.; in languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, SQL, CSS; in Java Persistence API to access data from database management systems like MYSQL, PostgreSQL or a No-SQL database such as Couchbase; with GIT/Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for day-to-day management of code and tasks; and developing software using Agile methodologies.
• 1 year of experience: in microservices architecture; and in Kubernetes orchestration and docker images for microservices deployment.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
• Experience can be concurrent.
