Align is the industry leader in innovative medical devices for digital dentistry and orthodontics. Align is looking for a Software Engineer to join our expanding Diagnostic Services team. This position will be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry and this role is on the frontlines of helping individuals get the smile they want.
As a Software Engineer (m/f/d) you will be part of a team that unites passion and technical excellence. In this you will collaborate with Engineers, Researchers, Clinical Experts, and Sales personnel to expand the userbase of Diagnostics as a Service on the Align Digital Platform.
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL…
- Work in an agile team of Software Engineers.
- Create and support automated integration of customer’s software systems.
- Optimize the technical onboarding process for wide range of international customers.
- Develop and manage customer training programs to support adoption and integration.
- Act as lead consultant and resource to customers.
- Provide technical support to customers.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED …
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python. Knowing Rust is an asset.
- Knowledge of building and deploying native applications on Windows.
- Experience with health standards such as FHIR, HL7, VDDS, among others.
- Experience with image standards and protocols such as DICOM, and TWAIN, among others.
- A deep understanding of the Windows operating system.
- A strong background in network technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant clinical processes, products, and services within dental offices is a plus.
- Fluency in English; basic knowledge of German is an asset.
- Willingness to travel.
