Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Laurel, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems
- Working individually or as part of a team
- Reviewing and testing software components
- Resolving software problem reports
- Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or 11 years of total experience
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Write or review software and system documentation
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with some or all the below technologies:
- Java 8+
- Spring Boot
- Apache NiFi
- Git
- Relational Database (MySQL)
- Nginx
- Linux
