THE OPPORTUNITY

Dubber is looking for experienced software engineers to join our technology team in Melbourne. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced company working within a cross-functional team to drive the design, development and release of products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. As a Software Engineer - .NET you will need to have professional experience in software development and a deep understanding of technology, you should also be personable and capable of collaboration with others.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/or technical background and experience in agile software delivery
  • Demonstrated experience building scalable solutions running on modern platforms such as Kubenetes running on cloud platforms
  • Proven experience with .NET core frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of software patterns and practices
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of working with large data queries and modern databases such as Postgres and DynamoDB
  • Automated testing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and deliver high quality solutions
  • Knowledge of search technologies such as ElasticSearch desirable

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to one of our Technical Leads, you will have a range of different things you will be involved in, some of which will be to:

  • Work within a cross-functional team to design and build modern cloud based applications to process and expose insights for voice data
  • Building scalable services to process and manage data for the Dubber platform
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to understand and expose new functionality
  • Contribute to engineering discussions across our software platform
  • Implement best practices for security and performance
