THE OPPORTUNITY
Dubber is looking for experienced software engineers to join our technology team in Melbourne. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced company working within a cross-functional team to drive the design, development and release of products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. As a Software Engineer - .NET you will need to have professional experience in software development and a deep understanding of technology, you should also be personable and capable of collaboration with others.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/or technical background and experience in agile software delivery
- Demonstrated experience building scalable solutions running on modern platforms such as Kubenetes running on cloud platforms
- Proven experience with .NET core frameworks
- Thorough understanding of software patterns and practices
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of working with large data queries and modern databases such as Postgres and DynamoDB
- Automated testing experience
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and deliver high quality solutions
- Knowledge of search technologies such as ElasticSearch desirable

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Reporting to one of our Technical Leads, you will have a range of different things you will be involved in, some of which will be to:
- Work within a cross-functional team to design and build modern cloud based applications to process and expose insights for voice data
- Building scalable services to process and manage data for the Dubber platform
- Collaborate with design and product teams to understand and expose new functionality
- Contribute to engineering discussions across our software platform
- Implement best practices for security and performance
