REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a strong computer science background.
• You have a desire to continuously improve and grow as an engineer.
• Experience programming in Java with Spring Framework.
• Experience programming UI with any common JavaScript framework, Vue.js/React/Angular.
• Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative team environment, including a willingness to seek and offer help.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

• The Software Engineering Co-op is responsible for the creation, enhancement, development, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions that will shape the future of the security industry.
• Primary responsibilities will be developing services and backend support of web applications for LenelS2’s software security products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement new product features for our security products.
• Participate in the full life cycle of development from specification and design through implementation, documentation, testing, and support.
• Participate in receiving and giving peer software code reviews.
• Partner with Scrum team members on delivering Kanban/Sprint commitments.
• Work with senior engineers, security engineers, technical writers, and product owners to deliver features.
• Participate in peer reviews to both share and receive feedback.
