INTRO AND JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for working with clients to manage and resolve escalated issues within our B2B integrator product suite and it’s associated product lines. Your primary activities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions, whether they be procedural or product code changes. There will be opportunities to develop new code, product enhancements and future. We are seeking someone with strong problem solving and communication skills with the willingness to possibly travel.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-4 years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written), analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • OS experience in one or more areas of Linux, UNIX, and/or Windows.
  • Cloud experience in one or more areas of AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, RedHat.
  • Database experience in one or more areas of Oracle and/or DB2 and/or MS SQL and/or MySQL
  • Ability to read and code through an Object Oriented Language, preferred Java.
  • Experience with JDBC, JDK, JVM stack traces.
  • Knowledge in one or more areas of HTTP/HTTPs, FTP/SFTP, OFTP, REST/APIs,

Responsibilities:

  • Defines, analyzes, and resolves customer escalations in a timely & accurate manner.
  • Provides periodic updates to customers, co-workers & management on the status of outstanding issues.
  • Documents complex issue resolutions for both the customer & internal reference as needed.
  • Assists team members with complex issues to gain experience & exposure to more advanced problems
  • Contributes, reviews & maintain knowledge base content and product documentation as needed
  • This role will require periodic after hour/weekend coverage, done on a Pager rotational basis.
  • Other duties may be assigned
