We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic RegTech team. As a RegTech Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing regulatory technology solutions that address the compliance needs of our clients.
Your role includes advancing our Transaction Monitoring system to deeply analyze transactional data and trading patterns. Moreover, you will play a pivotal part in fortifying our RegTech solutions, ensuring for example that financial products offered to clients are in strict compliance with regulatory standards and aligned with their investment goals, risk tolerance, financial status and other pertinent criteria.
You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software products that meet regulatory standards and enhance the overall compliance posture of our company.

YOU’RE OFFERING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in this or a similar role
• Proficient in Java and experienced with Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, Spring-Boot, Spring-Security, …)
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including database performance analysis and optimization
• Strong interest in regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to FinTech
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with financial products and/or trading is beneficial
• Interest in data analysis, machine learning and AI techniques is a plus
• Very good communication skills and interest to work as part of a cross-functional, distributed, agile team
• Very good English language skills
• Cooperation with teams across our branches in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Gent

• Design and develop software solutions that automate compliance processes and mitigate regulatory risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Optimize performance and efficiency of data infrastructure through continuous monitoring, tuning and optimization.
• Implement security controls and encryption techniques to safeguard sensitive regulatory data.
• Develop algorithms, data models and analytics tools to analyze large volumes of data for monitoring and reporting.
